Event Tue 9/10: Stofiel Aerospace 3D Printed Rockets to Orbit

Save the date for the first event of our Fall Speaker series, with Alex Smith, COO of Stofiel Aerospace. With rockets that are 3D printed and scalable to payloads, Stofiel offers a practical, cost effective option for the on-demand launches of small satellite payloads. Last time Stofiel Aerospace came to NewSpace Chicago, we were treated to a test firing of their 3D-printed solid fuel rocket engine in the parking lot! This time we look forward to an exciting update on their latest developments.

Alex Smith is COO of Stofiel Aerospace. The company is headquartered in St. Louis, MO, where it is using additive manufacturing and rapid prototyping to build their launch system, BOREAS. Stofiel Aerospace is offering customers the capability for on-demand launches to LEO and beyond. They offer a balloon-based small satellite launcher for the educational, commercial, and government markets.

This is part of a continuing series of space entrepreneurship discussion and networking forums presented by NewSpace Chicago and hosted at mHUB Chicago. The admission fee for this event is $5.
